The 2Blossom Arts & Crafts Centre kickstarted the June holidays with a creative workshop for our Grade 4 and 5 2Blossom learners.

The young learners played together as a class, with a dice and worksheet. to create their very own cute monster. Creative activities play an essential part in children’s development. It allows them to express themselves in their own unique way and to develop their imagination. Engaging in creative activities also helps them build problem-solving skills and enhances their cognitive development. Additionally, these activities provide a sense of accomplishment and boost self-esteem, which is essential for a child's emotional well-being.  It was wonderful seeing how challenging our learners’ creativity offered them an opportunity to expand their imagination and create their own unique characters within the bounds of the assignment.

The 2Blossom Arts & Crafts Centre aims to provide the learners with a safe space where they are able to express themselves creatively and earnestly. This is a true need within our rural communities. Through 2Blossom, we are already seeing beautiful growth in our learners.
