Three of our 2Blossom Foundation learners had the opportunity to visit the Hugo Naudé 3200 Art Exhibition.

The goal of the visit was not only to inspire our learners, but to open their eyes to all the different kinds of art out there and what they can achieve if they harness their creativity and continue to develop their artistic techniques. It was to show them that art is not just about how “good” you can draw, but that it starts at emotion, it challenges boundaries and it lets you explore the world that you live in.

For a lot of the learners at the 2Blossom Foundation, the concept of art is still small and naïve. Their world is set only within the farming communities of the Breedekloof Valley. By giving them the chance to move outside of these communities and experience the work of artists or learners from other schools, they can grow not only as artists, but also as individuals.

We look forward to many more outings with our learners.
